Every event matters.
Whether you bring together five people or five hundred,
your local event becomes part of a worldwide effort to build peace through action.
▫️You don’t need a large budget, a large organization or hundreds of participants.
▫️A meaningful GlobalPeace event can begin with a few people who decide to meet, connect and take a small step toward a more peaceful world.
▫️Every local event becomes part of a growing international initiative that shows peace is built through action.
🌱 Step 1 – Choose the kind of event you’d like to organize
There is no single required format.
▫️Community picnic
▫️Peace walk

▫️School activity
▫️Tree planting
▫️Public discussion
▫️Concert
▫️Family gathering
📍 Step 2 – Choose a suitable location
Select a place that is welcoming, safe and easily accessible.

📅 Step 3 – Choose the date and time

Local events can of course be organized throughout the year.
👥 Step 4 – Invite people, start with the people closest to you.
▫️friends

▫️municipalities

▫️local communities
🎨Step 5 – Use the GlobalPeace identity
To help people recognize that local events belong to the same international initiative, we encourage organizers to use the official GlobalPeace visual identity whenever possible.
Download logos, posters and other materials from the Organizer Toolkit.
🌍 Step 6 – Make it your own
▫️Authenticity is more important than perfection.
▫️Every community is different.
▫️There is no single script.
▫️Your event should reflect your local culture, traditions and people while sharing the common message of peace.
🌐 Step 7 – Stay connected
We would love to hear about your event and learn from your experience. In the future, organizers will also be able to share their events on the GlobalPeace Map and inspire communities around the world.
There is no such thing as a small act of peace.
Every action inspires another.
